Our Software Engineering teams work as semi independent units, responsible for owning a business area or application end to end. You’ll be surrounded by smart and motivated colleagues with complimentary skillsets, and variety in your work and see your code contribute directly to the success of the team.
Previous experience in trading on blockchain can be useful, but what really makes our Software Engineers successful is conscientiousness, logic, openness to new ideas and the curiosity to pull on a thread and see where it leads.
What you'll be working on
- Design, build, test and deploy proprietary software such as:
- Trading simulator optimised for distributed computations
- Large-scale data collection, management and visualisation systems
- Analytics tools to enable advanced mathematical modelling
- Post-trade analysis and reconciliation to support efficient operations
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

The Ideal Candidate
- Experience of software development in small, fast-moving technology-driven companies; some interest or experience in trading or blockchain would be an advantage
- Fluent with imperative and object-oriented languages; Python, .NET C#, or C++ preferred
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with network and asynchronous programming, websockets & REST interfaces, agile development
- Curious, likes problem solving and going down rabbit holes to find answers
