We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Monitoring & Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure smooth operational processes and effective risk management while serving our valued clients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with on-call responsibilities, system monitoring, software deployments, and comprehensive process documentation. You will work closely with various groups—including our trading team, technology, operations, and business development—to drive operational excellence and enhance client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade Monitoring & On-Call Support:
- Monitor trade execution across all lifecycle stages to ensure seamless operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for on-call support, addressing urgent trade issues and operational challenges in real time.
- Operational Deployment & Automation:
- Oversee the deployment of new strategies and updates, collaborating with developers for testing and release management.
- Automate routine operational workflows to reduce manual overhead and mitigate risks.
- Process Documentation & Improvement:
- Document complex trading processes to develop and maintain comprehensive Middle Office guidelines and procedures.
- Identify areas for workflow improvement and assist in implementing effective solutions.
- Cross-Functional Liaison:
- Work closely with the trading desk, risk management, operations, business development, compliance, and accounting teams to ensure coordinated and efficient trade operations.
- Respond to ad hoc requests and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and enhance overall performance.
- Client Project Performance & Uptime:
- Maintain and monitor uptime and key performance indicators (KPIs) for client projects to ensure high levels of service reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to address and resolve any issues impacting project performance.
Shift & Night Hours Requirement:
- This role requires working in shifts, including night hours, to provide continuous support and maintain operational excellence around the clock.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Language Proficiency:
- Must be proficient in English (both written and spoken).
- Comfortable with trading terminology and concepts.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of SQL is essential.
- Familiarity with Python is a plus.
